Watch the Race on Your PC

For next year: How to watch the Boat Race on streaming video on your computer
To watch the Boat Race on Streaming Video on your computer tomorrow (race starts 4:30 pm BST, 11:30 am EST), paste this it to your browser:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/8556009.stm
Until the time of the Boat Race, the screen is dark with a revolving wheel on it. The race is not being replayed after the event.

Also, check out
http://www.theboatrace.org/ - the home
page has a video screen on it, which might mean it
will show a streaming video of the race.

It is surprising, as someone on the Oxford
LinkedIn Group observed, that no Canadian
broadcaster is covering the race live. Four
- i.e., 25% - of the rowers are from Canada.
The bow spot on the Cambridge boat is a
Canadian Gold Medalist.

Matt Evans was singled out on LinkedIn as
a standout Canadian rower for Oxford.
